Poppy's lovely handknits are made from 100%cotton produced under the guidelines and spirit of Fair Trade and are made high up in the Himalayan Mountains in and around Kathmandu. These knits provide an income for women while they look after their home and family, they not only help sustain a way of life but provide an invaluable income for these women.   The knitwear is all machine washable and very comfortable to wear.   We have designed the cardigans and tops to be short so they sit to the waist of our dresses so the pretty shape is visible.   The coats are long but will shrink to long jacket size over the years and we have made the sleeves long so they will turn up at first then grow with the child.
