Poppy’s Alice dress is a lovely traditional dress; simple and comfortable to wear and smart enough for a wedding or a party. The Alice dress is built to withstand daily rough and tumble. We encourage our dresses to be worn not just for Sunday-best but for everyday wear, too. We like Poppy girls to get as much wear out of their favourite Poppy dresses as possible, so we have designed the Alice dress to start off below the knee with plenty of room around the waist for a little growth. The little sash at the back allows the dress to be pulled or loosened. Poppy designs special dresses for little girls. Each dress comes with a little story book telling of the adventures of a little girl called Poppy and her dog, Fred.

Great fun and easy to wear, with a soft full shape, our petticoats have been designed to go under our dresses or to be worn on their own. Our dresses are quite long, so buy big rather than small if you would like them to go underneath. They have an elasticised waist to help them fit. We have limited stock, so be quick if you would like one!

This hand-knitted 100% cotton hooded cardigan by Poppy comes in three colours, red, cream and blue. The cardigans are cosy and comfortable. Made from 100% cotton and machine washable, they have been designed and made to withstand messy meal times and grubby mitts. We like Poppy girls to get as much wear out of their favourite Poppy clothes as possible, so our hooded cardigans have been designed with extra length in the arms (that can be turned up) so as the child grows the cardigan grows too. Our knitwear is made high in the Himalayas and we provide a valuable source of income for women who work at home while bringing up their children.
