The Martha dress is one of Poppy's classics. The simplicity and versatility of this dress means that it can be worn alone, or with one of our little Izzy shirts underneath, or with a little knitted cardigan.We like Poppy girls to get as much wear out of their favourite Poppy dresses as possible, so we have designed the Martha dress with a generous fit. It starts off at about ankle length, with plenty of room around the waist for plenty of growth. The sash at the back allows the dress to be pulled or loosened.It is just right for so many occasions but not too formal to have to be only for Sunday best.We print all our own fabrics from only the best 100% cotton. They simply go in the washing machine ready to wash and wash again. Poppy and Fred are up to mischief at a birthday party on the border which runs round the hem of the dress, and the storybook that comes with each one tells the tale of what they get up to.

Put one of our cardigans over the top to keep that winter chill away and make an outfit. The Martha dress, like many of our dresses, is made wide to accommodate all waist sizes and then pulls in to fit around the waist with a simple sash to give a pretty shape. This is a lovely, traditional baby dress, made from our autumn-winter cotton twill. The Maisy dress buttons down the front so the buttons don't dig in while babies are lying on their backs, and we make them deliberately short so they do not get in the way while they learn to walk. A lovely special occasion baby dress, there is ample room under the arms to allow for growth, so babygrows and T-shirts can be worn underneath. Put cream or red tights underneath to complete this outfit. A storybook comes with the dress, telling the latest adventures of Poppy and Fred. Nearly all of our clothing is made in the UK. This is any girl's dream party dress. Made from our lovely 100% cotton twill, the fabric is a heavier weight than the summer cotton. Made from two half circles, just like the great 50s dresses, it is great for twizzling. Each Rosa dress comes with a sewn-in cotton voile petticoat to give a double layered look. It is designed to sit just below the knee and has a sash at the back so that the dress actually starts off wide and pulls in to fit, which makes sure that it will fit for longer than just one season.For extra good twirling, try putting one of our petticoats undreneath ... they make this dress look great !
