Poppy’s Alice dress is a lovely traditional dress; simple and comfortable to wear and smart enough for a wedding or a party. The Alice dress is built to withstand daily rough and tumble. We encourage our dresses to be worn not just for Sunday-best but for everyday wear, too. We like Poppy girls to get as much wear out of their favourite Poppy dresses as possible, so we have designed the Alice dress to start off below the knee with plenty of room around the waist for a little growth. The little sash at the back allows the dress to be pulled or loosened. Poppy designs special dresses for little girls. Each dress comes with a little story book telling of the adventures of a little girl called Poppy and her dog, Fred.

New to Poppy! In response to popular demand we have launched a small collection of adult dresses, inspired by the 1950s. Beatrice has been designed to suit many shapes and ages. The dress can be worn either with the V at the front or the back, giving two different looks in one dress. It has a zip down the side, making it easy to wear and a tie around the waist. All our adult dresses are fully lined, made from 100% cotton and wash brilliantly. Each dress comes with a little story based on the print. The stories were designed for children really, but why should we miss out! This dress is available in red or navy in all our winter prints.

A lovely, simple beret with one little poppy attached. These comfortable, stylish berets come in three sizes; a small, estimated for 1-2 years, a medium, 2-4 years, and a large 4-7 years. Great on their own or to finish off an outfit. Make up a lovely set with a scarf and mitts to match. Our knitwear is made by women working in their own homes in and around Kathmandu and gives them a valuable income.

The dress can be worn with one of our soft full petticoats, turning it into a real party dress, then simply add a Molly blouse, stripey tights and knitted cardigan to create a complete outfit.We like Poppy girls to get as much wear out of their favourite Poppy dresses as possible, so we have designed the Clara dress with plenty of room around the waist, and the sash at the back allows the dress to be pulled or loosened.The Clara dress is available in red or navy Poppy and Fred's Tea Party print. Our lovely cotton gloves come in three colours and are ideal for boys and girls. They are available in small, medium or large sizes, to fit 1-2 years, 2-4 years and 4-6 years. Poppy's lovely hand-knits are made from 100% cotton, produced under the guidelines and spirit of Fair Trade high up in the Himalayas, in and around Kathmandu. The women work from home and earn valuable income while looking after their children. The gloves, scarves and berets make lovely presents and can be bought as matching sets.
