Our cotton fabric is printed in the North of England to our own high specification. We use soft durable cotton which is printed with safe, formaldehyde-free dyes. We achieve a high standard of fade, shrink and crease-resistance and our fabric is washable at 60 degrees, so is suitable for bedding, curtains and nursery soft furnishings. The 60ins (150cms) wide fabric is interesting to use for all sorts of purposes. Aunt Eva fabric has a ribbon border of Fred the dog down each side and the border running both sides as well, so the simple print in the centre is 40ins wide and some thought has to put into using the fabric for curtains. The strong cotton twill we use is suitable for soft furnishings, upholstery, dressmaking or what ever takes your fancy. Please bear in mind this fabric is a winter weight not a summer weight. If you are looking for something a little lighter and more summery, our Seaside fabric offers a very good alternative. The fabric does not come with a book but it makes a lovely little addition. Beep Beep fabric

This delightful and very original design is printed here in the North to our own very high specification. Printed on the fabric is a collection of little vehicles, dogs, giraffes and more - the more you look at them the more they amuse and delight. The fabric is 100% cotton, 150cms or 60ins wide, with a 64cm repeat. It is suitable for nursery and children's bedding, as well as an array of other things. We use this cotton because it is hard wearing and good for everything. The fabric is printed in the UK with formaldehyde-free dyes. It is crease, shrink and fade resistant and has a lovely soft handle.

Cats Natural

This fabrics is very unusual - brought out from Poppys's archive of fabrics. This cat print is quite large, please look at the image with the hand to gauge the size. It has no border, so is great for curatins or anything you can think of. The cotton is a lightweight and is also ideal for clothing. 150cm wide with a 64cm repeat, it is a very striking fabric. This is a natural fabric, so some specks may occur where the cotton seed still remains. We like this and the fabric is meant to be this way, it is not a mistake in the printing but, if in doubt, please ask us for a sample first before we cut. Please ask if you have any questions about this fabric. Once this fabric is gone it is gone, never to be printed again.

Frog fabric

This fabric is very unusual - brought out from Poppys's archive. It is a very soft 100% cotton, printed on a dark pink background. The border runs down either side of the fabric, making it excellent for making clothes with a border but it also means you have to think about what you want to make a little harder. 150cm wide with a 64cm repeat, it is a very striking fabric. The border has the words A Frog A Would A-wooing Go written below it on the purple edge. Please ask if you have any questions about this fabric. Once this fabric is gone it is gone, never to be printed again. Also, we are happy to send you a sample but once the fabric is cut it cannot be returned.

A specialised and very useful product which can look delightful in a nursery as a tablecloth or mat for under a high chair. Bryony's delightful, unusual vehicles will always amuse and delight. The oilcloth is a very useable width at 54ins.

Seaside fabric

Seaside fabric

This is a lovely fabric. Based upon the adventures of Poppy and her dog, Fred, it is printed on a natural unbleached cotton. The background of the cloth is unbleached and you can see the cotton seed. It has a lovely vintage feel about it. Our fabrics are designed for dress making and can prove a little tricky to get your head round. They can be used for curtains and we do make bedding from this fabric, it just takes a little more thinking about. We print a border along each side of the fabric, which is continous along the length of the fabric. The repeat is 64cm, so the print will repeat it self every 64cm. The fabric is 150cm wide in total but this includes two borders and a ribbon that runs along one side. You can keep this on or cut it off to make ties or ribbons. This fabric is printed here in the UK, and colours are all colourfast and washable at 60 degrees. All inks are formaldehyde-free.
